Public service announcement to those of you who may be poor tippers out there: you better up your gratuity game if you want to live. Especially if you’re Mexican.
A waitress at a Colorado location of Texas Roadhouse had a rather extreme reaction to a group of Mexican customers leaving what she deemed an unsatisfactory tip, as she took to Twitter and dreamed that the popular movie franchise “The Purge” becomes a reality so she can enact her level-headed revenge.
Never mind the fact that this woman could have provided atrocious service, directly correlating to a poor tip. Or that maybe she had a visibly poor attitude toward the customers – you know, because she’s obviously racist as hell. Apparently in this server’s mind, mass murder is a justifiable response to being stiffed on a bill. Not just the people who didn’t tip her well, but their entire race of people.
Let’s not overlook that hashtag, either -#learnhowtotipyoufuckingtwats, followed up by an emoji of a middle finger. Keep it classy, Megan.
The internet did its part to ensure this woman went from waitress to unemployed, blasting the restaurant’s social media pages with copies of the tweet and requests to get rid of her.
A violent and racist employee is very bad for business,” one Facebook user said. “Please send her packin’.
Violent and racist… Bad for business… This is starting to sound familiar.
We have seen a fear-mongering campaign that has legitimized racist comments like this across all social media networks,” said Maria Handley, executive director of Generation Latino. “This hateful racist comment from a Greeley waitress is not unique. We are seeing it acted out in public, at schools and in our neighborhoods. This vitriol and hate that we are seeing in our communities is real and the man leading that is running for president.
Oh, that’s right. The man leading the GOP in the hunt for the presidency. That’s who this sounds like.
Why can’t America just do this with Donald Trump, a violent and racist “politician” who wants to build a freaking wall to keep Mexicans out of our country? Why can’t we just send him packin’, too? Would it shock anyone to find out “megatron” is a Trump supporter? His wall obviously isn’t enough to appease her hatred, though.
The restaurant wasn’t having any of this and did the right thing, wasting no time firing this racist piece of sh*t.
Our managing partner was actually mowing his lawn when he was alerted,” said company spokesman Travis Doster. “He immediately rushed to the restaurant, met with the employee who posted this disgusting tweet and she was terminated.
That’s some efficiency, right there. No second chance given. No apology good enough for her absurd statement.
And speaking of apologies, Olson naturally gave a lie-filled, bullshit-heavy “apology” on her Facebook page.
I wrote hurtful, inconsiderate, insensitive and careless words and I understand the amount of people I have offended by that,” she posted. “There are no excuses for what I have done. I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, apologize to everyone for my momentary lack of judgment. I want you all to know that I do not actually feel this way.
Right. She doesn’t feel this way. The same BS apology everyone utters after letting some horrific drivel spew forth from their ignorant face-hole. “I didn’t mean it! I was just emotional!” said everyone, ever.
Olson’s idea easily ranks as one of the dumbest in recent memory. Purging Mexicans over a bad tip left by one group of people? Yeah… how about no? Working on getting rid of racism and ignorance in America, though? That sounds like a good plan. A much better idea.
But the best idea of all? That one is obvious – firing Megan Olson, who will surely have a fun time trying to find a job as an outed racist. #NoJobForYou,Racist
